Gaspesie National Park
1981 Route du Parc Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, QC G4V 2E4
Gaspesie National Park is very popular for its incredible hiking and skiing, on both frontcountry and backcountry trails. It was established, among other reasons, to protect the native salmon and Gaspesie Caribou (which still herd there today). You'll find more than two dozen peaks that are over 1000m high, and seemingly endless activities no matter the season. The park is open year-round, but check for road and activity closures before visiting. There is one visitor center centrally located in the park. As of May 17, 2019, dogs will be allowed in the park.
