SURV stands for sport-utility RV which allows you and your “toys” to travel to your favourite off-road destinations without leaving behind the comforts of home. Beds, dinettes and couches are typically designed to fold up against interior walls to maximize rear cargo space. But what distinguishes an SURV from other trailers or towable RVs is a swing-down ramp and enough cargo space for a variety of off-road vehicles such as ATVs, dirt bikes, jet skis, canoes, snowmobiles or motorcycles.
ranges from 5.8 to 11.9 meters (19–39 ft)
starting from approx. $12,000
up to 8 people, depending on the model
Smaller models can be towed by mid-size vehicles: the family car, SUV or pickup truck. Check with your dealer for your vehicle's tow limits. Detachable: use your van or truck for shopping or sightseeing. All the conveniences of home are built into the SURV trailer for sleeping, showering, dining, cooking and entertainment. Slide-out options are available, which move part of the RV wall outward at the touch of a button, a distance of up to 1 meter (3½ ft). Fully winterized versions: include a higher BTU furnace, heated tanks, upgraded insulation and double-glazed windows.
