Cape Breton Highlands National Park

Epic mountains meet the vast ocean at this large Canadian National Park. The very popular Cabot Trail scenic drive follows most of the park's coastline. There are dozens of warm and cold weather activities in the park. Operating season is May through October, and in peak months (July and August), there are scheduled events every day. Cabot Trail is open year-round. There are five front country campgrounds and two visitor centres.
