Forillon National Park has a fascinating history as well as impressive animal and plant life. It is well-known for its narrow peninsula jutting into the Gulf of St. Lawrence with cliffs as impressive as the waves crashing below. Visitors can also enjoy beaches, hiking trails, snorkeling, and whale-watching. The park has two visitor centers and three frontcountry campgrounds. The only national park in Quebec that allows dogs on the hiking trails. Dates of operation are June 1 to October 8, 2018 but cross-country skiers can access the park in winter.
