Golden Municipal Campground

Welcome to Golden Municipal Campground, a scenic and well-equipped campground located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains in British Columbia. Our 77 campsites are situated along the banks of the Kicking Horse River, in Golden with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. At Golden Municipal Campground, we pride ourselves on providing a safe, clean, and family-friendly environment for our guests. The Campground has a range of amenities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable, including clean washrooms and showers, a picnic shelter, and a RV Part’s and convenience store where you can purchase basic supplies and snacks. From the campground you can walk to restaurants, shopping, and events. Also, guests can access biking and walking trails, visit golden municipal pool and partake in local recreational activities such as pickle ball or the skate park.

The Campground is located just a hop from the charming town of Golden, which is known for its outdoor adventures, including skiing, hiking, rafting, and more. The surrounding area is also home to many popular attractions, including Yoho National Park, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, and the hot springs at Radium and Banff.
