It’s the ideal base for exploring, with four Regional Parks nearby and an extensive network of picturesque trails, including the spectacular Coastal Trail in East Sooke Park just up the road.

Pedder Bay also offers a full service Marina with fuel dock, a three lane boat launch, boat rentals and fishing charters. Stay for a while and moor your boat for the season, or rent one for the day. In the heart of some of the finest fishing grounds on Vancouver Island – the locals refer to these waters as “The Salmon Freeway.” People fish out here with great success for Coho, Sockeye, Chinook and Pink Salmon as well as Halibut and Crab.

Take a kayak out for a tranquil paddle around the sheltered inlet or hop aboard a fully equipped 20’ Boston Whaler for some serious guided fishing.

Nothing says a west coast vacation better than warming up by the campfire each evening as you cook your freshly caught Dungeness crab or salmon. Wake up gently in the morning to the sound of the eagles whistling overhead and let us make you your favourite coffee as the sun rises on a new day of exploration.
