More About Campground

We opened Deep Creek Camping & Events in the spring of 2018. In the first year we worked hard to get county approval and all permits to open the campground. We built picnic tables and fire pits for our guests and set up a small confectionary on the covered deck of our park model trailer that provided 30 flavours of Foothills Creamery hard ice cream and more. To the community that quickly became a huge hit. At the end of the first season we started building our general store and office to better serve our guests and community. In the second season we finished our store, purchased a shower and bathroom facility and moved forward, bringing in many more new people. In our 3rd season we want to continue to grow and expand by adding a small 1920’s era building that will be renovated into a themed cabin, adding small themed A-Frame couples cabins, renovating our bathroom and shower facility and have added the County Riverside loop to our growing campground and events venue which has a nice skate park area, 2 very nice ball diamonds and a nice playground.

“With our own family and others in mind, we are working on plenty of fun things to do at Deep Creek Camping & Events. Our goal is to create this family focused atmosphere not only for our campers but also for our surrounding communities.” The Shura Family is building Deep Creek Camping & Events in Stages.
