Tunkwa Lake Resort

Tunkwa Lake Resort is a premier family vacation destination that has fantastic fishing and hunting for outdoor enthusiasts. Situated on the shores of Tunkwa Lake, our resort is in the southern interior Thompson Nicola region, which is a short drive from Kamloops and Logan Lake, and a three and half hour drive from Vancouver. Our tranquil location is ideal for weekend getaways or week-long vacation for families, couples, hunters, fishermen or small groups.

We offer a variety of accommodations, including luxury log cabins, rustic cabins, RV and tent sites. Our waterfront cabins are equipped with electricity, fridges and airtight wood stoves. There is no running water, but excellent drinking water can be retrieved in our shower houses. The cabins can sleep from two to nine people and feature complete cooking and eating utensils.

Our campground offers lake and grass sites with lots of room for large RVs. Each site features fire-pits and picnic tables; however, they are unserviced sites. Two shower houses are available with flush toilets and hot water. We supply drinking water, a water fill up station and a sani-dump.

Enjoy our luxury log cabins that are situated on the lake shore. Our large cabin features two washrooms, a full equipped kitchen, three bedrooms, and an open concept great room. Our smaller cabin is equipped with one full bathroom, a kitchen, three bedrooms and living room. Both cabins feature gorgeous log work, brand new furniture, beds and breathtaking views of Tunkwa Lake.

Our resort has an array of activities for guests of all ages to enjoy. The most popular activity is fishing where guests can get a chance to catch Rainbow Trout. Other activities available are hunting, mountain biking, golfing, hiking and birdwatching. In the winter season, join us for ice fishing, snowmobile rides, cross country skiing and ice skating.
