RICKY’S TESTIMONIAL
Getting to reconnect with Taco on this trip and experience the Gift of Canada meant the world to me. I absolutely love RVing, and it was so great to pass on that love for adventure and show him how amazing this country really is.
Chasing storms across the country, some of Ricky Forbes’ most treasured parts of Canada are found in the prairies. Growing up in Saskatchewan, the prairies has a close place in his heart. Passing along his love for the outdoors, Ricky shares his summer road trip driving from Saskatchewan to Alberta boasting breathtaking landscapes found right here in our backyard, capturing the Gift of Canada.
VIEW THE TRIP GUIDERicky Forbes is a man who stops at nothing to chase his passions. From documenting the wildest storms on the planet, to spending time with loved ones at home, Ricky’s pursuits are all in the quest of a life well lived.
A notable achievement is his creation of the TV show Tornado Hunters that made its way onto Netflix. This show features some of the best storm footage ever captured, including being caught inside the world’s largest tornado. Ricky lives for adventure and has been fortunate to travel the world and share his experiences through photo and video.
When not storm chasing, Ricky spends time with family, friends, and his Little Buddy, Taco (Tyler) from the Big Brother, Little Brother program. Ricky and Taco were matched in 2016 and after experiencing many adventures together, have developed a true familial bond.
Today, Ricky and Taco continue to set out on adventures together, making lifelong memories and exploring all that Canada has to offer.
