Once they had picked up the RV, JRNY set out to revisit the locations that make up their story, before creating memories in some new ones. The first stop? Abraham Lake; a place where Brandon, Cody and Danielle first connected. “Cody and I met at this exact spot and talked about our journeys. We realized how similar they were, and had a conversation about starting a production company called JRNY Media” – Brandon Royce. It wasn’t long after when Brandon met Chris on Ha Ling Peak in Canmore, and the four of them began adventuring together. The group continued on their journey out to Salmon Arm, Squamish, and the Fairmont Hot Springs in British Columbia. Along the way, they realized how important getting outside has been for their mental health.

JRNY’S RV TIPS
Pull-In/Back Into Sites for Added Privacy
Typically RV Parks and campgrounds will line the outsides of the grounds with sites that are suited for pulling or backing in, which allows for a little more privacy during your RVing experience.Pull Through Sites
Alternatively to the back-in sites, you can opt for a pull-through site. These sites are much easier to maneuver if you’re new to driving an RV, or if you prefer having the camper right in the middle of the site! Either way, keep these in mind when booking or ask at the front desk for your preference.Always Dump before leaving
Most RV Resorts and campgrounds will have Sani-Dump stations at the site or in the campground and you should always dump before heading out for 2 reasons:- These are designated spots to dump so you can be sure you’re doing it correctly and safely.
- The RV will be lighter weight wise which means saving money on gas!
Checklists are Important
An RV typically has a ton of storage as well as a full kitchen with a fridge and freezer, allowing for all kinds of meals and a nice upgrade from the typical camp stove or campfire dinner you may be used to. Creating a checklist will save a ton of stress and the feeling like you forgot something because you can go over it to make sure you have everything you need, whether it be for food or supplies.Overpacking
Be mindful when packing. Although you have all that space, it can fill up quickly with unexpected things such as firewood, and adding to the weight of the RV will in turn end up costing you more on gas as you drive it around.Do Your Research
Not every site will have full power and water hookups, so be sure to look into that beforehand if you plan on having all the utilities available during your trip.Share The Experience
