RV camp in Newfoundland

Plan Your Trip
About Newfoundland and Labrador The province is divided into two geographical parts: the eastern part of the Canadian mainland and the island located in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Newfoundland and Labrador is Canada’s most easterly province with a small population spread over a huge land mass. It’s said Newfoundlanders live on, by, and from the sea. No place is more than 100 km from the ocean and fishing villages are strung along the rugged coastline. Hope you like seafood, because it doesn’t get any better or fresher than this. Weather and Climate Climatically, Newfoundland is the most maritime of the Atlantic Provinces, and this is most evident in spring and summer, which are quite cool by Canadian standards. The glacial Labrador current holds July temperatures in coastal areas around 14°C, but inland averages may climb over 16°C. Sunny summer days in Newfoundland, however, are among the most delightful anywhere in Canada with afternoon highs in the low twenties. Plan Your Newfoundland Vacation When RVing in Newfoundland you need to plan ahead. Newfoundland RV parks and campgrounds get snatched up quickly, so make your reservations as early as possible to ensure you and your family get the best campsite, with the best view, in the best location. Mark your calendar for the day reservations open and then visit your campground’s website to book it. Private Campgrounds and RV Parks Access Camping has tons of links to private campgrounds and parks throughout Newfoundland for you to discover.
