Insurance
Most RV rentals come with insurance, but it’s best to check with your car insurance broker just to be on the safe side to see if any additional insurance is required.
License
For most RV rentals a standard class G license is required and all drivers must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
Deposit
Most dealers will require a deposit to book your RV. Drivers must have a valid credit card for the deposit, which is refunded upon return of the motorhome.
Reservations
Many dealers require you to book up to a month ahead of your departure time, so make sure you plan ahead.
Cancellation Policies
Policies will differ between dealers, so it’s always a good idea to ask about potential fees before hand.
Mileage
Ask what’s included in the rental and if there is a minimum or maximum length of time or mileage you must adhere to.
Convenience Packages
Many RV rentals have convenience or housekeeping packages. These packages generally include dishes, cookware, a kettle, coffee filters, and utensils, cleaning supplies, as well as bedding and towels. Ask your rental dealer for details.
