RV camping with kids
Not all vacations are “kid-friendly.” Airports, hotels and all-inclusive excursions can be unaccommodating or a hassle if you have little ones. Luckily, RV campgrounds and parks welcome the whole family! Travel is relaxing and familiar, and campgrounds are set up with activities for kids of all ages, and there’s no better way to spend some time with the family than around a campfire roasting marshmallows.
Here are some of the ways an RV makes travelling with the kids a breeze:
- Bunks or trundle beds give kids a space to call their own.
- Sleep soundly in your own bed with your favourite pillow so it will always feel like home.
- Bike ride, anyone? Extra “basement” storage accommodates bikes and bulky gear.
- On-board bathrooms save time on roadside pit stops and easily clean up messy hands.
As you sit around the campfire at the end of the day, here are some of the activities you and your kids will find yourself reminiscing about:
- Fishing or hunting
- Star Gazing
- Horseback riding
