1. Norman Hardie Winery (Ontario)

2. Fallentimber Meadery (Alberta)
Off the beaten path from Calgary, you’ll find a local gem near Water Valley – Fallentimber Meadery, a member of the cottage winery industry in Alberta. Fallentimber’s mead is created by fermenting locally-sourced honey and fruits from Alberta farms. Celebrating its seventh anniversary in 2017, this family-owned meadery also offers tours and tastings by appointment.

3. Blomidon Estate Winery (Nova Scotia)
Heading to the Annapolis Valley? Blomidon Estate Winery in the seaside village of Habitant, Nova Scotia, offers a “Vine-to-Wine” tour til mid-October – where you’ll have an opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at wine production and cap things off with a tasting flight! If you’re feeling a bit peckish after the tour, nosh on some Maritime cheese and charcuterie on Blomidon’s patio.
